SERVICES PROGRAM
Plantscapes Inc.'s specialty is
landscape maintenance. We use no shortcuts or practices that cannot ensure
excellent plant health and visual appeal - for many years into the future.
-
Turf Care : Turf will always have
a "cared for appearance." Mowing length will be determined by the
type, health, and seasonal requirements of the sod. Mowing will be done on a
scheduled basis. Clippings shall be removed from sidewalks, gutters and
drives.
-
Pruning : All trees and plants
will be pruned to maintain maximum health, growth, coverage, and visual
appeal. Any trees over 12 feet high are not included as part of our regular
service and must be contracted for separately with the Exterior Service
Manager. Materials for guying and staking shall be billed separately with
prior approval.
-
Edging : The edging of planting
beds and driveways will be performed every other week, unless otherwise
specified for the individual site.
-
Bed Work : The ground mulch will
be raked regularly. All debris in the landscaped areas will be removed.
-
New Ground Mulch : Ground mulch,
composed of a variety of materials, is available upon request from the
Exterior Services Manager. Mulch must be contracted for separately. Mulch
will increase the soil's moisture retaining ability, deter the germination
of weed seeds, allow the application of special weed control products,
create boundaries, and add a pleasant appearance, texture, and color to your
landscape.
-
Fertilizers : Fertilizers are a
regular part of our contract unless the client has other preferences. Lawns
are fertilized three to five times a year. Shrubs and trees are fertilized
according to the specific seasonal needs of the plants and conditions of the
landscape. Alternate schedules and adjustments to the contract may be
discussed with the Exterior Services Manager.
-
Chemical Sprays : The use of
chemical sprays will be limited to light applications on an as needed basis
to control insects, weeds, diseases, and fungi. We strive to be
environmentally conscious. We use organic pest controls when possible. Our
technicians attend seminars to learn the latest technology for a safer
environment. Plantscapes Inc.'s crew is licensed annually by the state of
Washington.
-
Irrigation Systems : Irrigation
programming is adjusted on an as needed basis. It is a regular part of
Plantscapes Inc.'s maintenance service. All other irrigation system services
will be performed and billed on a time and material basis. Repairs,
preventative maintenance, pressure winterizing, spring start-up, and
upgrading should be coordinated with the Exterior Services Manager.
-
Site Service Notification : A
notification card will be hand delivered to a manager on site after each
service call where applicable. This card is also designed as a two way
communication to allow Plantscapes Inc. to respond promptly to your comments
and requests.
-
Seasonal Color Changes - Annual
Flowers : Flowers are often the first and last impression a company makes.
Plantscapes Inc. provides an annual color rotation program that is changed
three to four times over the course of the year. Our designers pride
themselves on original presentations that reflect the spirit of each season
in the Northwest. You can speak with one of our Color Specialists to ensure
a presentation designed specifically for your company.
-
Upgrade Program : Plantscapes
Inc.'s Upgrade Program is for projects requiring a re-design of the existing
landscape. Upgrading will maximize the existing plants and materials while
adding new features.
-
Materials : All materials and all
maintenance programs are of the highest nursery quality stock. Plantscapes
Inc. extensive buying network provides healthy, quality plants as well as
excellent value.
