High Light

Plants for bright, well-lit areas can usually tolerate direct sunlight, at least for part of the day. In fact, in the Pacific Northwest, most plants can tolerate bright light as long as the sun does not shine directly on the plant. Also, keep in mind, when judging a plant’s light tolerance, indoor, incandescent lighting does not count.
